I Can't See! - Chapters 11 - 12

Jack and his tribe stole my glasses so for a while I couldn't see anything. I can't believe how out of control everyone got! Not only was everyone fighting, but death no longer meant anything to them! I am no longer alive, but I was happy to find that Ralph was able to escape. Poor Sam and Eric; without order, Jack was able to torture them without punishment.

They were rescued just in time! Everything was chaos, and I have no doubt in my mind that Jack would've killed Ralph if he got a chance. The naval officer was confused, I wonder if he realizes just how chaotic live on the island really was.

Chapters 9 and 10

Simon's mising again. Jack was having a huge fesat last night so me and 1ealph went. We atarted dancing around the fire and getting really crazy. Then, something appeared from the darkness! We were all scared and thought it was the beast so we started attacking it! It tried to escape but the boys wouldn't let it. By the time we realized it was only sImon, he had tripoed on and fell over the edged onto rocks. The storm washed his body Into the ocean. I taljed to Ralph about it this morning.

That night we got attacked while we were sleeping. Thet stole my glasses! I know it was Jack and his group! They wanted to use my glasses to make their own fires. I guess well see how this turns out...

Chapters 9&10 - "Poor Simon"

Hi again!
I woke up today and couldn't find Simon. What's new?! Ralph and I went to Jacks fesat solely because we wanted to keep everyone in order. They were roasting a pig...ironic right? Anyways, Jack is making me furious now. He thinks he is the best and most powerful and has no respect for anyone! Either way, I kind of put aside my hard feelings and got caught up with the wild dance around the fire.

It was the worst day. We were all excited with the dancing and having so much fun. We even reenacted the pig hunt. Simon came out of the darknes but no one recognized him. All the OTHER boys started attacking him and no one even noticed it was siomon. All of a sudden he tripped and fell onto the rocks and died. I wonder if anyone will miss him! To make matters worse, the storm was horrid and washed Simons dead body into the ocean.

I met Ralph on the beach this morning. We talked about how bad he felt...I don't think I did anything though! Jack went insane and ataryed attacjing boys They even stole my glasses so thet could make their own fires. Its crazy out here and who knows if we'll make it out alive...

We're Better Off Without Them Anyway - Chapters 7 & 8

Jack, Ralph, and everyone came back from the mountain saying they actually saw the beast! I don't believe it! I really didn't think that the beast existed, but with everyone saying they saw it, I'm no longer too sure what i think.
I'm trying my best to stay positive, especially in front of Ralph, but it's getting harder. Jack lead a large amount of boys to create his own tribe. I think he just wants to be able to boss them around and was jealous of Ralph. I don't like Jack at all, but he has pig meat that sounds really delicious right about now.
We made a signal fire on the beach, so hopefully someone will come find us soon! I can't imagine what the adults would think if they saw us right now.

Not much getting done

Yesterday Ralph called a meeting and yelled at everyone for not following rules, and for slacking off on the shelters, not getting water, not maintaining the fire, and going to the bathroom wherever they want. Everyone is still afraid of the monster and Jacks not helping the matter. After the meeting Ralph said he didn’t think he was a good leader but Simon and I cheered him up. Today everyone went looking for the beast. The littluns and I stayed behind. Supposedly there was a sighting of the beast last night. Guess ill have to wait and see what they find.

Ch 4: Now I Only Got One Eye

I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong, but no one seems to like me very much. I tried to explain to Ralph how we can make a sundial with sticks. I think a sundial would be very helpful, and then we would be able to tell time. Ralph seemed angry when I mentioned it, though. He tends to get mad at me a lot.

There was a ship out at sea! If only Jack would be more responsible. We might have gone home if Jack wasn't just worried about his hunting. I'm very angry with Jack at this moment. When I yelled at him, he punched me and broke my glasses! I don't know how he thought he could be a leader. Is he aware that I now only got one eye? I am very hungry though. I wish he gave me more meat.

Why Me?

Why me? It seems like everything bad happens to me. Its bad enough I wound up on this island. Now I am forced to hunt for food or else we will starve to death. I hope someone finds out that we are here and saves us. I am disturbed that I am the only one that fears being stranded on this island. People need to get their priorities straight, there are too many conflicting idea. The boys tried to start a fire with my glasses but it was short lasting. One boy said he saw a snake creature then later that day he was lost and hasn’t been found. But no one seems to care, I am the only one. I feel like I am in the twilight zone. Kids are starting to get lazy, no one wants to work on our shelter. Im getting sick of this, I want off this island.

We're all stuck here on a remote island in the middle of nowhere with no adults, and we act like we can easily handle surviving on our own like its no big deal... Everyone thinks using my glasses to start a fire up at the top of the mountain will "save" us, when in reality we should at least get the necessities taken care of first (food, water, shelter). Ralph seems pretty angry that no one will work on the huts and is too focused on the fire instead. We really need to get our priorities straight if we ever want to have a slight chance at surviving in the horrible place.

One thing that makes me nervous is that when the younger kid who talked about the snake monster walked off from the fire and got lost, everyone just pretended like it didn't happen. I'm pretty sure we are not going to last very long if we don't even look out for each other and work as as group. Anyway, I'm pretty nervous about this whole thing and as things are going now, I have a good reason to be.

ch. 123 "We need help fastttt" by Jon Toll

.....i don't know if anybody has realized yet, but were stranded on an island! Nobody seems to understand that no-one knows were here! We need to find help now! There going to the top of the mountain now to see if they can signal a boat or a plane with a fire using my glasses, Ha, good luck to them, clearly if this is going to work, we need to keep the fire constantly going, and not just for a brief couple of minutes until it dies out.

I saw one of the "kids" playing by the fire and  now hes missing, so this is going great(sarcastically), now every bodies shocked and scared.

I see Ralph getting mad now, because evrybody seems to be using the excuse that there hunting for food, instead of helping out around camp. Maybe now hes coming to his senses, because at the moment it looks like were all staying on this island for a very long time......

Ch. 2 & 3 - "Is Everyone Clueless?" by Kristina Pho

I cant help but think that everyone on this island is completely clueless to what is happening. Do they not know that we have crashed on this god-forsaken deserted island and who knows if we'll ever be rescued?! I suppose they are all in denial and just scared without any adults around to help us. Either way, I just think everyone is so childish and stupid! Too bad I'm stuck with them. Hah! 

Well, this group is quite...interesting. My glasses came in handy. We used them to start the fire on the beach...it was Ralph's idea. I cant stand how they didn't listen to me in the first place though...they only care about Ralph's opinion! It makes me so angry! The boys cant do anything right! The fire just died down due to all these idiots I'm stuck with who probably don't even care about getting off this island. Did i mention the fire spread and burned down a whole bunch of trees. Fortunately, I was the only one who notice that some boy went missing...

So, Im sitting here now with Ralph, not too great of company considering he's so annoyed at everyone for not working on the huts. Oh well, this is going to be hard getting used to. I have to go now...more drama on the island and its obvious they need me...

Where are all the adults?? CHAPTER 1

Oy! It seems like we're all alone on this island. Good thing Ralph was able to blow into that conch shell so we could find everyone. I still don't like that he called me Piggy in front of everyone else though. And why wouldn't they let me go exploring with them?! My asthma would've help up, I'm sure.

Oh, here come Ralph, Jack, and Simon back from their exploration...
